Offered here is a very special and complete German Arbeitsbuch (workbook) belonging to Wilhelm, containing numerous entries throughout his working career.

The most significant entry records his employment at the Flak Barracks Essen-Kupferdreh, where he served as a “Kriegsaushilfsangestellter” (wartime auxiliary employee) during the later stages of the war.

Accompanying the Arbeitsbuch are two original official letters from the Flak Barracks, each stamped and signed by the Oberzahlmeister (senior paymaster). These documents provide direct and verifiable context to his role and link him unmistakably to the German air defense system in Essen, a city of major strategic importance during the conflict.

The Arbeitsbuch is complete and original, though the inner pages have separated from the cover over time. Despite this, the historical value is outstanding due to the rare combination of the detailed workbook entries together with the surviving stamped correspondence from the Flak barracks itself.

A truly rare grouping that connects personal employment history with the German air defense infrastructure of WWII – an excellent addition for advanced collectors of military and labor history.
