A German WWII Bakelite Fuse Storage Container (Zünderbüchse), originally used to hold 25 pieces of the small detonator charge ‘kl. Zdlg. 34’ (kleine Zündladung 34).
 
Constructed from brown Bakelite, this container is clearly maker marked and dated 1939, with all markings nicely matching and well-preserved.
This is not a ground find – the container has remained in overall good condition, with some visible damage (see photos), but no structural compromise.
Comes with an empty, matching inert fuze (totally safe and free of explosives) as an extra bonus item, perfect for display.
 
A great piece for any WWII German ordnance or equipment collection. Hard to find in this condition and completeness.
