This is an authentic and fully operational German military marching compass from World War II, manufactured by Busch of Rathenow.
 
The compass remains in excellent working condition: the needle is responsive and accurate and the locking mechanism functions flawlessly. All components are intact and original.
The housing shows only minor signs of use, with a well-preserved finish and clear maker markings on the lid.
