Step into history with this rare and distinctive German wire cutter, manufactured by the esteemed Wilhelm Kober & Co. of Suhl in 1938. Known for their precision craftsmanship, Kober & Co. were also the makers of renowned daggers and military tools used by the Wehrmacht during WWII. This wire cutter, however, bears the scars of battle, adding to its historical allure.

While this particular piece is no longer functional—due to a part of the metal jaw being broken off—it still holds tremendous value as a collectible relic. The missing portion of the jaw is present and could potentially be restored, but as it stands, the cutter's condition reflects the toll of wartime use.

The wire cutter is clearly stamped with the year of production (1938) and the maker's mark of Wilhelm Kober & Co., both of which are unmistakable symbols of quality from this renowned manufacturer. Additionally, though partially worn, the Waffenamt acceptance stamp is still discernible, further proving its authenticity and connection to the German military.
