For sale is a well-preserved, original WWII German K98 bayonet, manufactured by Ernst Pack & Sohn, Solingen. This is a non-matching numbers example, but in very good, collectible condition, showing only light signs of handling and storage – a truly honest and unmolested piece.
The blade is in non cleaned state and has no post-war sharpening.
The grips are tight and intact, with minimal wear. The steel scabbard is in good condition.
Included is the correct and period-original leather frog, marked "Fried. Schäfer, Ulm" and dated 1942. The frog is in very good condition, fully intact, and supple, with no damage, cracks, or stitching issues.
A fine, honest example of a German WWII bayonet set – ideal for collectors looking for quality, originality, and completeness.
