Rare Kriegsmarine "Bootsmänner" Serving Platter – KPM 1940 – Excellent Condition

Up for sale is a Kriegsmarine serving platter, specifically made for use by Bootsmänner (Boatswain ranks) of the German Navy during WWII. Manufactured by the prestigious porcelain maker KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin) and dated 1940, this platter is a striking piece of naval history.

The platter is decorated with the typical green line pattern around the edge – a known design used for naval tableware during the period. On the reverse, it bears the correct KPM maker's mark and Kriegsmarine property stamp, confirming its authenticity.

The porcelain is in excellent condition, with a smooth, glossy finish and no visible wear to the decorated surface. There is one very small chip on the underside, but it is minimal and not visible when displayed or in use. Overall, the piece presents beautifully.

An exceptional and hard-to-find item for any WW2 German Navy or Kriegsmarine collection, especially in such well-preserved condition.
