This is an absolutely mint example of the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwertern (War Merit Cross 2nd Class without Swords), complete with its original ribbon and clearly marked with maker code "52" on the suspension ring, identifying Gottlieb & Wagner, Idar-Oberstein.
 
The cross retains all of its original bronze finish, with razor-sharp details and no signs of wear or oxidation. The frame and center medallion are all in pristine condition. The ribbon is original, full-length, and perfectly preserved—still crisp and vibrant in color.
