Extremely Rare WW2 Reichsadler Wax Seal Stamp – Heavy Tombak Construction
For collectors of WWII relics, this is a truly extraordinary find: a heavy tombak Reichsadler wax seal stamp, an authentic piece of history that carries a unique and mysterious inscription.
On the reverse side of the stamp, in incredibly small letters, someone carefully engraved in Dutch:
"....A. Hitler for his brave conduct."
Given the precision and aging of the engraving, it is highly likely that this was done during World War II, making this item a one-of-a-kind historical artifact.
The exact origins and purpose of this engraving remain unknown, adding an air of mystery to an already rare piece.
The stamp itself is made of heavy tombak, a durable brass alloy often used in high-quality German wartime insignia and awards. The Reichsadler emblem is crisply detailed, showing the skill and craftsmanship of the time.
