A stunning and 100% original RAD buckle from the early days of the Reichsarbeitsdienst. This example is clearly maker marked “N&H 1938”, indicating it was produced by the firm Noelle & Hueck in Lüdenscheid in one of the very first production years.
 
The buckle remains in very attractive condition, with excellent details on the spade and swastika emblem. The front shows only light wear and retains a nice patina, while the reverse is well-preserved with clear markings and an intact catch and prongs.
 
Early RAD buckles from 1938 are highly sought after, especially with such a clear maker’s stamp. A fantastic addition for any collector of RAD, early Third Reich, or political buckles.
