This is an original Wehrmacht Kradmelder (motorcycle dispatch rider) glove, specifically for the left hand, and stamped with the year 1942.
These gloves were part of the standard issue for motorcycle messengers operating under often extreme conditions on all fronts of the war.
Made from thick, durable leather, this glove was designed to offer protection and insulation while riding. It shows signs of field use, but remains in good, solid condition, with intact stitching and a strong structure. The leather has a naturally aged patina, adding to its authentic wartime character.
The clearly visible “1942” date stamp makes this a highly desirable collector’s item. Single gloves like this are increasingly rare, especially when marked and preserved.
