Working German Field Telephone FF33 – 1941, Maker Marked D.W. (Dürkoppwerke, Bielefeld)

Up for sale is an original and fully functional WWII German Field Telephone FF33, produced by D.W. (Dürkoppwerke AG, Bielefeld) – a known manufacturer of Wehrmacht communication equipment during the war.

This particular unit is in very solid condition and what makes it especially unique is that it still works! We’ve attached two external wires with clips (in a non-invasive manner) so it can be operated using a standard 4.5V flat battery. The handset, buzzer, and generator crank are fully operational – ready to send or receive a call just like it did over 80 years ago.

Features:

  • Original D.W. (Dürkoppwerke) maker’s mark

  • Year of manufacture: 1941

  • Original Bakelite housing with minor wear consistent with age

  • Functional crank generator, buzzer, and handset

  • Fitted with modern clip-wires for 4.5V battery operation (no damage to the unit)

This is more than a collector’s item – it’s a living piece of history. Ideal for display, reenactment, or museum use.

Authentic – Working – Rare.
