Working German Field Telephone FF33 – 1941, Maker Friedrich Reiner Munchen.
This particular unit is in very solid condition and what makes it especially unique is that it still works! We’ve attached two external wires with clips (in a non-invasive manner) so it can be operated using a standard 4.5V flat battery. The handset, buzzer, and generator crank are fully operational – ready to send or receive a call just like it did over 80 years ago.
Features:
Original FR (Friedrich Reiner)
Year of manufacture: 1941
Original Bakelite housing with minor wear consistent with age
Functional crank generator, buzzer, and handset
Fitted with modern clip-wires for 4.5V battery operation (no damage to the unit)
