WW2 German S.F.14 Z.Gi. Periscope “Scherenfernrohr” – Complete Set with Original Tripod & Accessories
 
Offered here is a highly desirable WW2 German S.F.14 Z.Gi. Periscope (Scherenfernrohr), as used in armored vehicles and field positions by German forces. This set is in very good condition and comes complete with a rich array of original accessories.
 
Description:
Optics: Mechanically fully functional. The right ocular is still clear and features the original reticle (crosshair). The left ocular is no longer fully clear but still usable.
Original wooden transport box included – shows heavy wear and use, consistent with front-line service. The text on the lid is no longer legible.
Includes all original tools and parts:
Extra lenses
Sunshades / long extension tubes
Accessory box for lighting unit & wiring
Battery case – beautifully stamped and in great condition
Additional mount piece (for fixing the periscope onto a tree or similar object)
 
Tripod:
Comes with an original wooden German wartime tripod in very good condition – solid, functional, and stable.
Also included is the rare original carrying bag for the tripod, made of fabric with leather reinforcements, still very supple – a rarity in this condition. Only one small hole in the fabric bag.
 
This is a very hard-to-find complete field set that displays beautifully and still functions.
