This is an original German WW2 Wehrmacht thermal food container, designed to keep meals warm for soldiers in the field. These containers were an essential part of frontline gear and were used extensively throughout the war.
 
The example on offer is in good, used condition with its original paint still visible. Please note: the fragile inner glass insert is missing – a common occurrence with these vintage containers. Due to this, the price has been adjusted accordingly.
