This is an original WWII US Army Jungle Flotation Bladder, dated 1943, designed for use in the Pacific Theater. Issued primarily to soldiers operating in jungle and swamp environments, these flotation devices were part of the early efforts to improve mobility and survivability in extreme conditions.

Made of durable green rubberized material, this bladder would be inflated and worn around the waist or chest to assist with buoyancy during river crossings or amphibious operations. It features the original manufacturer's markings and 1943 date stamp, which are still clearly visible.
