Set of 2 Original Pre-WWII Carlsberg Bottles with Swastika Trademark
Kan beschikbaarheid voor afhalen niet laden
This is an exceptional set of two original Carlsberg swing-top bottles dating from the early 1900s up to the 1930s, each featuring the company’s historic swastika trademark. Long before the symbol became politically charged, the swastika was used by Carlsberg as a sign of good fortune and appeared on their bottles, porcelain stoppers, and brewery branding. After 1933 the mark was rapidly discontinued, making surviving examples extremely rare.
Both bottles retain their original embossed glass design and ceramic swing-top lids. One stopper is beautifully marked in red with the early Carlsberg logo and the radiating sun-swastika, while the base of one bottle clearly shows the swastika emblem surrounded by a sunburst pattern. These markings are highly sought after by collectors of early brewery memorabilia and pre-war industrial design.
Because of the historical context and the discontinued trademark, these bottles are now regarded as scarce transitional artifacts from Carlsberg’s early branding period. They are also fascinating pieces within collections of European pre-war glass, brewery equipment, and early 20th-century commercial trademarks.
