Wehrmacht steel buckle Brüder Schneider

German Wehrmacht steel belt buckle, attributed to the maker Brüder Schneider.

While this example is unmarked, it is clearly identifiable as a Brüder Schneider product based on design features, construction, and finish known to collectors.

The buckle is fully intact, with both prongs and catch present and functional. It retains approximately 30% of its original yellow-green paint on the front, while the reverse still holds about 90%, which is rare to find in such preservation.

This is a very nice, clearly used example with great character, perfect for display or to complete a period field gear setup.
