WWII British Gas Mask / Service Respirator – Dated 1943
Kan beschikbaarheid voor afhalen niet laden
This is an original World War II British Service Respirator, dated 1943, as used by British and Commonwealth forces during the Second World War.
The mask retains its original rubber facepiece, glass eyepieces, and complete canvas head harness, with all straps still present. The rubber remains supple for its age, showing honest wartime wear and patina without signs of modern restoration.
The respirator is fitted with its original British filter, clearly marked EXTC 62 and dated 11 OCT 43, which corresponds perfectly with mid-war British production. The internal filter elements and perforated plate remain intact, with visible original construction details.
Service respirators like this were issued to soldiers, civil defense personnel, and home front units, reflecting the constant threat of chemical warfare during the war years. Examples retaining original straps and matching wartime-dated filters are increasingly difficult to find.
