WWII German Concrete Airfield Marker – Fliegerhorst Venlo
Kan beschikbaarheid voor afhalen niet laden
Offered here is an original WWII German concrete airfield marker, used at Fliegerhorst Venlo, one of the most important Luftwaffe air bases in the occupied Netherlands.
These heavy concrete markers were used for airfield layout, taxiway guidance, and runway boundary marking, playing a crucial role in daily flight operations. Original surviving examples are exceptionally rare, as most were destroyed, buried, or removed after the war.
This is a museum-grade relic, unmistakably authentic and impossible to reproduce convincingly.

Historical Context – Fliegerhorst Venlo
Fliegerhorst Venlo served as a key Luftwaffe operational base, supporting:
- Night fighter units

Concrete markers like this were part of the fixed airfield infrastructure, making them true ground-level witnesses to Luftwaffe flight operations. Unlike medals or documents, these items were never intended for preservation, which explains their extreme scarcity today.
