Up for sale is a mint-condition WWII German K98 bayonet , originally manufactured in 1943 by clc (Richard Abr. Herder, Solingen), and wartime re-stamped – a notable and increasingly rare feature reflecting active reassignment during the war.

The blade retains nearly 100% of its deep original bluing , showing no signs of sharpening, rusting, or pitting. The grips are pristine, and all metal parts are clean and tight.

This is a non-matching numbers example, but the overall condition sets it apart from most available today.

It comes complete with an exceptionally well-preserved scabbard , maker-marked FZE (FW Höller, Solingen) and dated 1941 . The scabbard has smooth original finish, no dents, and only minimal handling wear.

The set includes a beautiful, supple leather frog, correct for the period, showing excellent stitching and flexibility , with no cracks or damage – perfect for display or collection.

This is a top-tier example of a wartime German bayonet set, rarely found in such condition.
