An original 1943 World War II period relief map titled “Der Mittelmeer Raum” (“The Mediterranean Area”). This detailed 3D-style map shows the Mediterranean region as it was viewed during the war, including key geographic and strategic areas.

The map has been torn in two pieces but remains complete and in otherwise good condition. The relief and printed details are still crisp and clearly visible. A fascinating historical item reflecting the cartographic and educational style of wartime Germany.
