Extreme rare: Japanese feed system for the Nambu LMG
Couldn't load pickup availability
Offered here is a genuinely rare piece of WWII Japanese military equipment : a Type 11 hopper feed system for the Type 11 Nambu Light Machine Gun (LMG) , complete with its original canvas carrying pouch .
The Type 11 Nambu LMG was Japan's first domestically-designed light machine gun, adopted in 1922 and produced until 1941 . Though superseded by newer models, the Type 11 remained in frontline use throughout World War II , especially in early and mid-war campaigns. One of its most unique features was its hopper-fed mechanism , which allowed loading with standard 5-round Arisaka rifle stripper clips—eliminating the need for belts or magazines.
This hopper assembly is an original WWII-period piece , extremely scarce today and in excellent condition . It comes with its wartime-issued canvas pouch , which still retains original stitching.
Due to their low survival rate, separate hopper systems are highly sought after by collectors of Japanese militaria , WWII machine gun accessories , and Imperial Army gear . This is a rare opportunity to acquire a key component of the Type 11 LMG system—seldom encountered on the market in such complete form.
