K98 Bayonet with frog 1942

For sale is a well-preserved, original WWII German K98 bayonet , manufactured by Ernst Pack & Sohn, Solingen . This is a non-matching numbers example, but in very good, collectible condition , showing only light signs of handling and storage – a truly honest and unmolested piece.
The blade is in non-cleaned state and has no post-war sharpening.
The grips are tight and intact, with minimal wear. The steel scabbard is in good condition .
Included is the correct and period-original leather frog , marked "Fried. Schäfer, Ulm" and dated 1942 . The frog is in very good condition , fully intact, and supple, with no damage, cracks, or stitching issues .
A fine, honest example of a German WWII bayonet set – ideal for collectors looking for quality, originality, and completeness.
