A rare and fascinating set of two original WWII photographs showing a group of five Luftwaffe soldiers in uniform . Both images are almost identical, but differ in size — one being postcard size , the other smaller .
What makes this set truly remarkable is that one of the men is wearing the extremely rare Spanish Cross (Spanienkreuz) — a decoration awarded to German personnel who fought or supported operations during the Spanish Civil War (1936–1939) as part of the Condor Legion .
