Original WW2 German aluminium measuring jug dated 1936
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is an original WW2 German aluminium measuring jug, produced in 1936 and clearly marked with multiple period stamps.
The jug is manufactured from aluminium and features the classic tall cylindrical form with a pouring spout and riveted handle. It is stamped “H.U.” together with the German Reich eagle and swastika, confirming official wartime acceptance. The handle mounting is additionally marked “RFI 36”, identifying the maker as Rudolf Fissler KG, Idar-Oberstein, a well-known German manufacturer of aluminium household and military equipment during the Third Reich period.
The base carries the RFI logo, again confirming authenticity and period production. Construction details such as the rivet pattern, rolled base edge, and utilitarian finish are fully consistent with wartime German issue items intended for military kitchens, canteens, or field use.
Condition is honest and untouched, showing clear signs of age and use, including surface wear, oxidation, and interior residue consistent with decades of storage. There are no cracks or repairs, and the handle is firm and solid.
A scarce and increasingly difficult to find pre-war / early-war dated example, ideal for advanced collectors of German WW2 militaria, military kitchen equipment, or period aluminium ware.
Offered strictly as a historical collectible.
