Visor Cap for Officer from Fire Protection Police
Couldn't load pickup availability
This is a genuine and rare WWII-era officer's visor cap ( Schirmmütze ) worn by a member of the Feuerschutzpolizei – the fire protection police, which operated under the Ordnungspolizei during the Third Reich period.
Crafted with high-quality materials and detailed craftsmanship, this cap is a classic example of the distinctive green-piped visor caps worn by officers in this specialized branch of the police force. The exterior is in very good condition , showing only minimal wear for its age. The body retains its shape well, with clean stitching, intact insignia, and a well-preserved officer's chin strap and visor.
The interior shows signs of wear , consistent with regular use – including some sweatband discoloration and light staining in the lining – but the maker's mark and size label (58) are still visible. These authentic wear marks add to its historical value as a real piece used in service, rather than a postwar reproduction.
