This is a genuine German World War I leather buckle tab , dated 1916 , and manufactured by:
“Genoss.d.Sattlergew. GmbH – Parchim i/M.”
Crafted from thick brown leather and still showing clear markings, this tab would have been attached to a Prussian or Imperial German belt buckle and used by front-line soldiers during the First World War.
Manufacturer: Genossenschaft der Sattlergewerbe GmbH (Saddler's Cooperative), Parchim, Mecklenburg
Year: 1916 (clearly stamped)
Material: Leather
Condition: Good for its age — legible markings, light service wear
Authenticity: 100% original WW1 item
An excellent and rare addition for collectors of Imperial German field gear or WW1 militaria. Especially interesting due to the well-preserved maker mark and full wartime date.
