This is an original WWII German Anschluss Medal (Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 13. März 1938), awarded to individuals who participated in or contributed to the annexation of Austria into the German Reich.
The obverse features the iconic design of two figures symbolizing unity, standing above the German eagle with wreath and emblem. The reverse is correctly inscribed “Ein Volk – Ein Reich – Ein Führer” with the date 13. März 1938, marking the historic Anschluss of Austria.
This example is in very nice original condition, showing a natural, even patina consistent with age. The details remain sharp and well-defined. The medal is complete with its original period ribbon, showing correct coloration and honest age-related wear.
